Welcome to the Hilo High JROTC website! We are proud to be one of the oldest and most respected JROTC programs in the state of Hawaii. Our program has a rich history of serving our school, community, and country with honor and distinction. The Hilo High JROTC program was established in the 1990s, with the mission of developing citizens of character dedicated to serving their community and country. Our program has grown and evolved over the years, but our commitment to excellence and service has remained constant. Throughout our history, we have produced countless leaders and role models who have gone on to make significant contributions to their communities and our nation. Many of our cadets have gone on to serve in the military, while others have pursued careers in fields such as law enforcement, healthcare, education, and business. Our program is built on a foundation of discipline, teamwork, and respect. We believe that by instilling these values in our cadets, we can help them become successful and responsible adults who are ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
